Rainbows Resource Provision

Our Rainbows Room is run by Mrs Allan. She is supported by Miss Smith, Miss Evans, Miss Briers and Miss Harrison.

Our class is a small, nurturing group of 9 children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and communication and language needs.

We provide a hands-on, supportive learning environment where children are encouraged to explore, communicate, and grow in confidence.

Our day begins with a calm start using morning daily folders and a zones of regulation check in. Following this we have structured phonics and maths sessions delivered through practical, engaging activities. We balance learning with play, including sensory exploration, outdoor experiences, water play, and creative activities that support development across all areas. After lunch, we focus on fine motor activities, topic linked lessons and continued interactive learning, ensuring every child has opportunities to succeed in ways that suit their individual needs and strengths.
